Austin Bishop is a singer/ songwriter from Piedmont, Alabama.  Austin found his love of music at the young age of six when he began singing in the church choir.  Since learning to play guitar just two years ago, his biggest influences in both songwriting and music are Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, Luke Combs, Johnny Cash, and Merle Haggard.  A lover of all kinds of music, Austin's writing inspiration comes from his own personal experiences- both good and bad.  He tells his stories through his lyrics.  Being raised by his grandparents, he was brought up as he calls it, "the old school way" and learned to respect everyone no matter who they are or where they come from.

Austin has written with several artists that come from a similar background and can relate to his experiences- mostly just by sharing their stories of growing up and crazy events. Austin has written with Erik Dylan, Tyler Reeve, and Thomas Archer, some of the top singer/ songwriters in Nashville with multiple number ones and several top tens on their resume.  Austin's debut EP "That's What Made Us" was released in April 2019 by Nashville's 3rd Lion Productions and his new single "Till The Day That I Die" is out now on all streaming platforms.
